Hi! I'm Amanda, the owner and founder of Water2Moon. Water2Moon started as just an idea back in early 2011 after I suffered burns from eleven minutes in a tanning bed. I knew there had to be another way to achieve a pretty bronze without paying the price. I'd also been toying with the idea of becoming my own boss and fully diving into entrepreneurship for over two years, at that point. A few months later, I packed up my car to the brim with a pop-up tanning tent, some solutions, and a spray tan machine. I was mobile tanning for over three years, traveling all the way to the city some days to do a single spray. During this time, I also worked in four - yes, four! - hair salons across both counties of Long Island, working out of a closet-sized space with my little spray tan set up.

I am very passionate about educating individuals of all ages about the dangers of harmful UV exposure and why spray tanning is always the healthier alternative. I opened my first storefront in beautiful Babylon, New York in December 2014 and never looked back. By operating my own business, I am personally invested in each and every client that walks through our doors. I truly care about the result of every spray tan performed at Water2Moon. I'm also a committed sunless educator, teaching my technicians and every client we spray that a tan is absolutely achievable using natural and organic products. 

From a pop-up tent in the back of my car to two storefront locations in Long Island, New York, I cannot wait to see where Water2Moon goes next! I thank you for joining me on this journey and going sunless with us.
